Who we are

The Bede Centre is part of the new Youth & Community Learning Service situated within Gateshead Council's Young Peoples Unit, Learning & Culture.

The Bede Centre is a community facility, which is part of Bede Community Primary School.

Where we are

The Bede Centre is positioned on the same site as Bede Community Primary School. The centre attracts local people from within the Bridges and Felling Council Wards of Gateshead which includes the Old Fold Estate, Nest Estate, and Sunderland Road areas of East Gateshead.

What we do

The curriculum at Bede offers something for everyone - adult groups, youth clubs, a youth group for young people who have learning disabilities, pre/after school care and full time holiday care, family learning, social and informal education opportunities and two small scale community enterprises.
